Editor-in-Chief of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr., has called for a change in the narrative surrounding the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) national executive election, stressing the need for a more positive direction for the party.
Speaking on MetroTv Good Morning Ghana, Mr. Pratt said the NPP’s national executive election should not be viewed solely through the narratives being presented by the media, urging political actors and the public to pay attention to the broader issues surrounding the party’s leadership and future.
He suggested that the NPP requires new leadership capable of presenting a positive narrative and providing a new direction for the party. According to him, the focus should be on leadership that can help rebuild confidence and shape a more constructive political outlook.
Mr. Pratt’s comments come as attention remains focused on the NPP’s national executive election, with the party expected to elect new national executives as part of efforts to shape its future leadership and political direction.
