Ghanaian international and Manchester City's forward, Antoine Semenyo has made history after becoming the first Ghanaian player to be named among the 'PFA Premier League Team of the Year'.
The Manchester City forward was included in the 2026 PFA Premier League Team of the Year following an impressive 2025/26 campaign, with the selection voted for by fellow professional footballers.
Semenyo is one of four Manchester City players selected in the prestigious XI, alongside Erling Haaland, Rayan Cherki and Nico O’Reilly.
The 26-year-old enjoyed a productive season after beginning the campaign with AFC Bournemouth before moving to Manchester City in January.
He finished the Premier League season with remarkable '17 goals' for a player who just joined the club in his first season, maintaining his strong form after his move to the Etihad Stadium and establishing himself as an important attacking option for Pep Guardiola’s side.
